Sarah lives in Brussels and teaches Mat and Reformer Pilates at two studios in Belgium: Animo Studios in Brussels and Pulse Studio in Leuven. She completed Page’s intensive mat training in May 2024, and since then, her life has completely changed.
Before she started teaching, Sarah struggled to find a place in her professional life. She wanted to do something different from sitting behind a desk all day and wanted to pursue her passion for sports and movement in general. With her dance background, she always loved the way her body and mind benefited from Pilates workouts. Sarah loved the idea of teaching others how to find that same feeling.
In just 1.5 years, she went from working full-time in an office and teaching on the side to working 80% in the office and freelancing to quitting her job and becoming a full-time freelancer. Sarah hasn’t regretted this career change for a second!
She was already teaching before the training, but she felt she needed to deepen her understanding of Pilates’ foundations. Quite randomly, Sarah found this training on the Balanced Body website. It sounded perfect to her: an intensive two-week course in one of the most beautiful places in the world—Nosara, Costa Rica. Without thinking twice about it, Sarah went for it. Little did she know that this training would become one of the best experiences of her life. For her, it just felt like the right place at the right time. In addition to all the knowledge Page shared with her from her many years of experience, Sarah met so many amazing people from all corners of the world, each with their own unique reason for being there. The community of 30 like-minded people who get to spend two weeks with is unmatched. And the cherry on top: you get to do it in one of the most beautiful and calming places in the world!
