Today I am running a boutique studio in Atenas, Costa Rica with private students and group classes. I am the Pilates teacher at The Retreat Costa Rica, and I train private clients in their homes in Escazu and Santa Ana areas of San Jose. Page not only focused on teaching us the Pilates exercises, but on the actual art of teaching Pilates. There was plenty of feedback along with lots of encouragement. This was done through daily movement sessions facilitated by Page and our own opportunities to teach our fellow students in both small and large groups. I returned home with an understanding of what it is to teach Pilates exercise and with a growing confidence in my own abilities to teach private sessions and classes.
