Pilates Compass Waiver and Release of Liability

By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any content, programs, or services provided through Pilates Compass (the “Program”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Voluntary Participation:

I understand that my participation in the Program, including but not limited to exercise classes, tutorials, mentorship sessions, and related materials, is entirely voluntary.

2. Assumption of Risk:

I acknowledge that Pilates, exercise, and physical activity involve inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, injury, or other health complications. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages I may sustain while participating in the Program.

3. Medical Clearance:

I certify that I am physically fit, have consulted with a qualified healthcare professional regarding my ability to participate in exercise programs, and have no conditions that would prevent safe participation.

4. Release of Liability:

I hereby release, waive, and discharge the creator of Pilates Compass, its owner(s), affiliates, employees, contractors, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the Program, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. No Guarantee of Results:

I acknowledge that the Program provides educational resources and guidance, and individual results may vary. The Program does not guarantee specific fitness, financial, or career outcomes.

6. Intellectual Property:

All content provided by Pilates Compass is for personal and educational use only. Reproduction, distribution, or resale without written consent is prohibited.

7. Professional Use Agreement:

I understand that all instructional content and guidance provided through the Pilates Compass platform must be used within the scope of my own training, certification, and professional expertise. I agree not to teach, demonstrate, or apply any movement, technique, or recommendation to clients that exceeds my current level of knowledge, understanding, or training.

If I encounter a client whose injury, condition, or limitation is beyond my scope, I agree to refer that client to a more qualified or experienced professional, such as a licensed physical therapist, medical doctor, or senior instructor.

8. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Costa Rica.
