Teacher Training FAQs

The guidelines for test out:

Mat test out will be 6 months after completion of the Mat modules.

Mat and Reformer test out will be 12 months after completion of all the modules.

Comprehensive test out will be 18 months after completion all the modules.

Location

The studio is located at Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort. Address: Bodhi Street, Nosara 50206, Costa Rica.

Nosara is located closer to Liberia airport than San Jose International airport. We advise students to fly into Liberia and take a taxi for convenience and to save time. A shuttle/taxi from Liberia takes approximately 90 minutes. If students do decide to fly into San Jose it will then be necessary to fly down to Nosara via Nature Air or take a shuttle.

These additional hours can be completed here at Pilates Nosara for a small fee or at a studio of your choice. Once the course is completed you will receive a certificate of course completion. This does not mean you have your certification. Once all of your required hours are logged and you are ready to test out for your certification, then you must apply with Balanced Body. You can test out here at Pilates Nosara for a fee of $250 or at any of the alternative locations listed on the Balanced Body website.
